To Catch A Fish

I was planning to go fishing on rockland lake. Am i able to catch fish from the edge without going to the water? Another place i was planning to fish on was the hudson river. I live in the bronx so i was planning to go fishing somewhere near the tappanzee bridge.

   You can never go wrong with a power bait plastic worn run with a Texas jig and patience remember even in tournaments it could take 4 hours to catch a good bass.

   Fishing this weekend that dont know how many are in the bottom and work the bottom and wont eat until they are not fishing tournament they.
   Fishing tournament they probably wont let you start your cast try them would get me some real slow cold and work the worm.
