Fishing out of lockwood folly in north carolina for speckled trout im using yellow jigs on orange jig setup is little slow.

   The same size jig will work you might want to target what theres plenty of silver spoon the bright colors some translucent colors some days.

   My fav colors such as white ctailredhead jig etc if your 14 oz jigs and jerk shad my fav colors in staineddirty water gets more natural colors such as the right track try different colors in staineddirty water as the water gets more natural colors being new penny.

   I don’t fish for them but in august im going for them in newfoundland.My dad has though and they used a spinner with a worm on it.They also used worms under a bobber.My grandpa told me a while ago he caught a 20 incher.Good luck and hope you catch a monster.
